Trail description

A long 15.2 km climb of about 1,360 m from Lunz am See past the Lunzer Obersee and the Ybbstaler Hütte to the Dürrenstein at 1,878 m. The summit rises above the Rothwald, the largest primeval forest of central Europe, which can only be visited on guided tours. Allow a full day, or stay a night at the Ybbstaler Hütte.
