Trail description

A 5.4 km climb of about 770 m from Mixnitz through the Bärenschützklamm to the Zum Guten Hirten inn at about 1,200 m. In the gorge the path climbs 164 ladders and footbridges beside a chain of waterfalls; it is one-way uphill only, open from May to October, with a small entry fee. Not for anyone uneasy with heights.
