Mount Roland from Gowrie Park

Trail description

From the O'Neills Road car park at Gowrie Park the track climbs about 950 m, steeply through forest and then across the open plateau, to the summit of Mount Roland (1,233 m), the dolerite massif above Sheffield in northern Tasmania. The plateau is exposed to wind and cloud, and the last climb crosses dolerite boulders.
