A 2 km climb of about 250 m from behind the Australian War Memorial up the Mount Ainslie summit trail to the lookout at the top, 843 m. Mount Ainslie rises in Canberra's north-eastern suburbs as part of Canberra Nature Park. For the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people it is a sacred place, primarily for women's business.
