Trail description

A short, steep loop of about 0.6 km at Gunlom in the south of Kakadu National Park, climbing about 80 m over rough rock to the top of the falls. The lookout track is graded 3 and takes around 30 minutes one way; above the drop a series of rock pools, including the famous infinity-edge pool, look out over the southern plains. Gunlom Road is for high-clearance 4WD vehicles only, and swimming in the plunge pool at the bottom of the falls is not permitted.
