Gibraltar Peak Tidbinbilla

Trail description

A 4 km climb of about 300 m from the Dalsetta area of Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve to Gibraltar Peak, 1,038 m, south-west of Canberra. The track crosses open grassland, often with kangaroos, to Eliza Saddle, then climbs steeply past a viewing platform and granite steps to the summit's large grey granite boulders. The top has wide views over the ACT, and reaching the very highest point takes some scrambling through a narrow cleft.
