Trail description
A 1.6 km walk into Cataract Gorge on the edge of Launceston, from Kings Bridge to the Cliff Grounds at Trevallyn, with about 45 m of climbing. Two tracks run along the gorge to the First Basin: the level Cataract Walk and the steep, historic Zig Zag Track high above the river. The Cliff Grounds have a historic rotunda and picnic lawns, and the gorge is about 1.5 km from the city centre.
