Trail description

The Cape Hauy Track leaves Fortescue Bay in Tasman National Park and follows part of the Three Capes Track through woodland and wildflower heath. It drops down a steep set of mostly stone steps, then climbs again to Cape Hauy, where dolerite columns plunge straight into the sea. Parks and Wildlife Service rate it Grade 3, 9.4 km return, with unprotected track edges; a parks pass is required.
