Trail description

The Booroomba Rocks walk starts at the Booroomba Rocks car park at the end of Booroomba Rocks Road, where ACT Parks recommends 4WD. The track climbs steeply through tall forest to the top of massive granite cliffs, a noted rock climbing area, with views over Canberra and the Brindabella Ranges. ACT Parks grades it 4 and warns of a dangerous cliff edge. Our route covers 1.2 km with 169 m of climb to the clifftop viewpoint.
