Trail description

From Perrys Lookdown near Blackheath, this 2.9 km track drops about 589 m down the cliffs into the Grose Valley to the Blue Gum Forest, a stand of towering mountain blue gums saved by early conservationists in 1931 and 1932. NPWS grades it 4, very steep with many steps and a rough surface, and the climb back out is the hard part. Acacia Flat campground lies nearby.
