Trail description
A 2.2 km climb of about 185 m from near Lake Burley Griffin past the Australian National Botanic Gardens and up the Black Mountain summit walk to the lookout at the top, 812 m. Black Mountain rises west of Canberra's centre on the northern shore of the lake. It is protected as part of Canberra Nature Park and mostly covered in native bushland.
