Trail description

From the ferry jetty at Darlington on Maria Island the walk passes the old convict settlement and climbs through forest and over a boulder field to the dolerite columns of Bishop and Clerk (599 m), with views down the east coast of Tasmania. The last part is a scramble over boulders to a summit with sheer drops; the island is reached by ferry from Triabunna and a national park pass is needed.
