Trail description

From the car park at the southern end of Douglas-Apsley National Park, the walk strolls through open woodland to the tranquil Apsley Waterhole, crosses the river and climbs through dry, open forest before descending to the Apsley Gorge. The Apsley River is home to the endangered Australian grayling. Parks and Wildlife Service rate the track Grade 2; the river return needs boulder hopping in low water. A parks pass is required.
