Storot to Mount Khustup

Trail description

The summit day of the Syunik Legends Trail, climbing from the seasonal farming hamlet of Storot to Mount Khustup, the 3,206 m peak that dominates southern Syunik. The path follows a narrow ridge through rock formations to a spring, then climbs into treeless high alpine meadows to the main ridge south of the summit. The last section is a scramble over jagged rocks to the top. Take care in fog, when it is easy to get lost on the upper slopes.
