Trail description
A marked walk from the town of Sisian to the Shaki waterfall, linking the two best known sights of the Sisian area. The path heads north to Zorats Karer, the ancient stone circle known as the Armenian Stonehenge, then drops into a gorge and climbs back to the plateau before crossing the highway through fields to the falls. Shaki waterfall is a series of side by side cascades about 18 m high framed by moss and greenery; its flow is shared with a hydroelectric station, so it runs on a timer. The walk is about 8 to 10 km.
