Trail description
An easy 6.5 km loop in Vayots Dzor around the semi-abandoned village of Old Martiros, founded in 1283 according to a khachkar in the village. The loop passes the rock-hewn Holy Mother of God church, or Martirosats monastery, carved below Mt Nazar (2,446 m), and Chumov Lake with its natural island. Allow about 2.5 hours.
