Trail description
A walk from the village of Arzakan in Kotayk up to the ruined Neghuts monastery, founded in the 10th or 11th century. The church of Surb Astvatsatsin stands in a clearing on a hillside overlooking the valley and the village, about 2 km from its centre. Its gavit still keeps all of its original walls and much of its roof, carried on four large columns around a central oculus. A small chapel and a medieval cemetery lie just east of the church.
