Martiros Waterfall

Trail description

A short 2 km hike in Vayots Dzor from near Martiros to the Holy Mother of God cave church, carved into the rock face of Mt Nazar, and on to the Martiros waterfall. The path follows ancient stone retaining walls that switchback up the hillside and may once have been part of the Silk Road. HIKEArmenia cleared and restored the trail in 2019. Allow about 1 hour.
