Trail description

Stage 32 of the Armenian National Trail, about 16 km from Gosh to Khachardzan in Tavush. It begins near Goshavank monastery, climbs past St Sarkis chapel and the tomb of Mkhitar Gosh with views of the monastery and nearby rock formations, then turns from a vehicle road to a footpath through dense forest and open meadows. Allow about 5.5 hours.
