Trail description

Stage 28 of the Armenian National Trail, a long 20 km day in Tavush from Gandzakar to Hovk, one of the highest villages in Dilijan National Park. From the centre of Gandzakar a steep rocky hill leads to open pastures facing Tesilk mountain above the Urtajur valley. The trail continues over meadows and wooded hills toward the limestone Hovk cliffs. Allow about 7.5 hours.
