Dsegh to Tumanyan

Trail description

A 16 km walk from the centre of Dsegh down into the Debed river valley, through the village of Karinj and on to the town of Tumanyan, following easy tracks through most of the Debed canyon. There is a knee-high river crossing just below Dsegh. Tumanyan, founded in 1926 as Dzaghidzor, was renamed in 1951 after the poet Hovhannes Tumanyan. Allow about 4 hours.
