Trail description

Stage 18 of the Armenian National Trail, about 12.5 km from Dsegh to Karinj in Lori. The two villages sit on opposite sides of a plateau cut by the Martsaget gorge, so the trail drops and climbs about 400 m through fields, forest and steeper rocky sections. Dsegh is the birthplace of the poet Hovhannes Tumanyan. Allow about 4.5 hours.
