Debed Canyon Walk

Trail description

A climb out of the deep Debed canyon at Alaverdi. From the river a switchback path zigzags up the steep slope to the plateau village of Sanahin and its 10th century monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then continues south across the plateau. Views drop back into the gorge of the rushing river.
