Laguna del Caminante Ushuaia

Trail description

Starts at the blue gate at the end of Camino del Valle in Ushuaia's Andorra valley and follows the Arroyo Grande valley west to Laguna del Caminante, where camping is allowed. The Ushuaia tourism office gives about 5 hours one way to the lake and rates it high difficulty with very high effort; the full circuit over Paso de la Oveja is about 25 km over two days. Registration before starting is mandatory and fires are banned on the whole trail.
