Laguna de los Témpanos Ushuaia

Trail description

Starts at the blue gate at the end of Camino del Valle in the Andorra valley, about 7 km from central Ushuaia, crosses peat bogs and forest beside Arroyo Grande and climbs to Laguna de los Témpanos below the Vinciguerra glacier. The Ushuaia tourism office gives 14 km and about 8 hours round trip to the glacier, rated high difficulty and high effort. The glacier ice caves may only be entered with specialised guides.
