Garganta del Diablo Tilcara

Trail description

A 5.6 km walk with about 405 m of climbing from near Tilcara up the path to the Garganta del Diablo viewpoint and dam, then on past the small waterfall on the Casa Colorada stream toward Alfarcito. Tilcara, in the Quebrada de Humahuaca, has traces of human settlement more than 10,000 years old. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in Argentina.
