A short 0.5 km walk with about 15 m of climbing near Caviahue to the viewpoint over the Cascada del Basalto on the Río Agrio. Caviahue is a ski resort and village in Neuquén on the shore of Lake Agrio, also called Lake Caviahue. Its landscape is known for araucaria forests.
