Trail description

A second classic from Lëpushë climbs to the Trojan pass and along the border ridge to Maja e Trojanit (about 2,190 m), with views across the Albanian Alps and into Montenegro. The loop that sources describe is about 13 km with 950 m of ascent and takes around 5.5 hours. Waymarks are poor in places, so carry a GPS track. Hike it between May and October; Lëpushë is on the paved road from Shkodër via Hani i Hotit.
