Maja e Qores from Llogara

Trail description

A shorter summit than Çika, Maja e Qores (2,018 m) rises straight above the Llogara Pass. Switchbacks climb through pine forest onto a ridge with views across to Maja e Çikës and down to Dhërmi and the sea, and the last kilometre is steep. The round trip is about 9.4 km with close to 1,000 m of ascent, around 5 hours. The path carries red and white marks, fewer near the top, and snow can linger into April, so late May to October is best. Start near the Panorama restaurant on the Vlorë to Himarë road.
