Trail description

This one-way traverse links two Kelmend villages over the Berizhdol ridge, one of the finest ridge walks in the region. From Lëpushë you climb for about three hours through beech woods to the ridge, then descend past high summer pastures to Nikç in the Cem valley. It is about 13 km with modest ascent but more than 1,100 m of descent, around 6 hours. Summer and early autumn are best, and you need transport back from Nikç or a night in a guesthouse there.
