Gamti Mountain over Bovilla Lake

Trail description

A short, steep walk above Lake Bovilla to the Balcony of Bovilla viewpoint on the slopes of Mount Gamti. The path climbs about 1 km and 160 m on loose gravel and rocky steps, taking 35 to 45 minutes, with a restaurant about halfway up. The last section uses metal stairs bolted into the rock face, and a small fee is charged for the upper platform. The viewpoint looks over the whole reservoir and the green valleys below, toward Dajti and the Krujë foothills on clear days. There is no marked trail on to the summit of Gamti.
