Trail description
A 1.2 km walk from the campsite at Great Zimbabwe up to the Hill Complex, the oldest part of the stone city, occupied from the 11th to the 13th century. The city, built from about 1000 AD of dry-stone walls laid without mortar, spans 7.22 km² and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986.
