Great Borne from Bowness Knott

Trail description

From the Bowness Knott car park on the north shore of Ennerdale Water the walk follows the lane west for about 500 m, then climbs a steep path to the summit of Great Borne (616 m), the westernmost high fell above Ennerdale. About 5 km out and back with 490 m of climbing.
