Trail description
The Sipi Trail up Mount Elgon, about 28 km from near Sipi on the north-western slopes past the Tutum Cave and Kajeri camps to the edge of the caldera. Mount Elgon is an extinct shield volcano on the border of Uganda and Kenya, and the Ugandan part of its national park, 1,110 km², was gazetted in 1992.
