Rwenzori Kilembe Trail: Kilembe to Sine Hut

Trail description

The first day of the Kilembe route into the Rwenzori Mountains: about 5.8 km and 830 m of climb from the national park entry point above Kilembe through montane forest to Sine Hut at about 2,600 m. The path is steep, muddy and full of roots; Uganda Wildlife Authority rules require a booked trek with a licensed guide, which the Kilembe operators arrange.
