Trail description

Maracas Waterfall in the Maracas (St Joseph) Valley drops about 90 m and is described as Trinidad's highest waterfall. The 1.2 km path off Waterfall Road starts as a muddy track through farmland, then narrows into secondary rainforest with a few small streams to cross, about 30 to 40 minutes at a leisurely pace. Paths and mossy rocks get slippery after rain, mobile reception is limited, and Visit Trinidad recommends a tour guide.
