Dili to Dare Memorial via the Back Road

Trail description

A half-day walk from the south side of Vila Verde in Dili up the steep back road to the hill village of Dare, ending at the Dare Cafe and War Memorial with its display on the Second World War in Timor. The climb takes about two and a half hours; most of the road is paved, and walkers often return by the longer, gentler main Dare road.
