Mutnye Lakes via Alauddin Lakes

Trail description

A climb from the end of the Chapdara valley track past the Alauddin Lakes (about 2750 m) and the round Piala Lake to the grey-water Mutnye Lakes at about 3500 m, below Chimtarga and Energia peaks. Trekking operators describe it as a 5 to 6 hour return day hike from the Alauddin Lakes with about 800 m of ascent. The route goes above 3500 m, so altitude can be felt.
