Yushan Front Peak (玉山前峰)

Trail description

A 3.2 km climb of about 630 m from the Tataka saddle trailhead to the 3,239 m Front Peak of Yushan, the first summit on the main Yushan trail. The last part is a steep scramble on loose rock with ropes. Private cars stop at Shangdongpu, with a shuttle bus up to Tataka, and the thin air above 3,000 m makes the climb harder.
