Liyushan from Liyu Lake (鯉魚山)

Trail description

A 4.7 km out and back walk with about 450 m of climbing from the south car park of Liyu Lake up the forest stairs of the birdwatching trail to the 601 m top of Liyushan, the hill that rises above the lake near Hualien. The trail is shaded most of the way and busy with birds. From the top there are views over the lake and the East Rift Valley.
