Trail description
A 2.3 km climb of about 220 m from Wasserauen to the Seealpsee in the Alpstein, a lake at 1,142 m in Appenzell Innerrhoden. Its setting, clean water and two mountain inns make it one of the most popular outings in the Alpstein. In July 2009 and 2010 the lake turned red from a bloom of the alga Tovellia sanguinea.
