Irene Val from the Brownsberg Plateau

Trail description

From the plateau headquarters this path follows the Leo Val trail at first and then continues much further down to Irene Val, 2.4 km one way with about 280 m of descent that has to be climbed again on the way back. Allow about 80 minutes to 1.5 hours down; it is a lot harder than Leo Val. At the bottom is a waterfall with a small bathing pool and, nearby, the entrance to an old gold mine; entry to the park requires a STINASU permit.
