Montagu Bloupunt Trail

Trail description

A 14.2 km loop with about 990 m of climbing from the Montagu Mountain Reserve office up the kloofs and fynbos slopes of the Langeberg to the high ground below Bloupunt, at 1,266 m the high point above Montagu, and back down the far side. Rocky and hot in summer, with views over the Breede valley and the Klein Karoo. A small permit fee is paid at the reserve office.
