Trail description

A 3.7 km out and back walk with about 60 m of climbing from the Matjiesrivier road along the sand track to the Stadsaal caves, a maze of wind-carved sandstone overhangs in the Cederberg, with San rock paintings of elephants and people nearby. A CapeNature permit is required, sold at the Matjiesrivier farm.
