From the shelter at Hiadeľské sedlo the path climbs through the forest to the grassy ridge of the western Low Tatras and follows it over Prašivá (1,652 m) and Malá Chochuľa to Veľká Chochuľa (1,753 m). The open ridge looks over the Starohorská valley and the Veľká Fatra.
