Trail description

From the Popradské pleso stop of the Tatra railway the blue trail follows the closed road up Mengusovská dolina to the lake and hotel at Popradské pleso, past the Symbolic Cemetery of those who died in the mountains, and zigzags up to Ostrva (1,984 m). The summit looks over the Mengusovská and Batizovská valleys; trails above the huts in the Tatra National Park are closed from November to mid-June.
