Trail description

Thematic itinerary no. 6 climbs from Strada del Ponte below Fiorentino along the Fosso del Toro and the wooded slopes of Monte Seghizzo to the ruins of the Castellaccio, a medieval stronghold perched between limestone outcrops. The official walk is about 3.7 km with 200 m of climbing (about 1.5 hours), almost all uphill on the way out; this line follows the waymarked path from the Strada del Ponte side up to the ruins.
