Trail description
Mount Taboi (304 m) is the highest point on Union Island, reached from Ashton by the Big Hill and Mount Taboi trails, 1.2 km one way with about 220 m of climbing. The trails are in the Union Island forest reserve, so a guide is required (book through the Forestry Department or the Union Island Environmental Alliance), with at most five people per guide. Past Big Hill the path is often faint, with prickly pear and stinging plants, and the summit looks out over Mayreau and Canouan.
