Millet Bird Sanctuary Trail

Trail description

This bird-watching trail in the Millet forest reserve, about 6 km inland from the west coast road, runs at around 300 m and gives views over the John Compton Dam. The Forestry Department rates it moderate to strenuous and lists over 30 bird species, including endemics such as the Saint Lucia parrot, oriole and warbler. An entry fee is charged, and guided visits must be booked 24 hours ahead, usually on weekdays.
