Shitten Bay Trail

Trail description

This footpath starts at Major's Bay, where the car ferry to Nevis leaves, and follows a rocky stream bed through thorny scrub over a low hill to Shitten Bay, about 1.2 km one way. Orange trail markers and small piles of stones mark the route. The bay is a beach of large stones with a rusted wreck that draws fish for snorkelling, so wear thick-soled shoes and consider water shoes for debris and sea urchins.
